The <strong>Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR)<\/strong>, under the World Bank, provided funding to carry out the following tasks:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Stage 1:<\/strong> Project organization, data collection, and situation analysis<\/li><li><strong>Stage 2:<\/strong> Development of internal guidelines and processes for <strong>RSLUP<\/strong> to upgrade and reform the existing urban planning system<\/li><li><strong>Stage 3:<\/strong> Training and capacity building for risk-sensitive planning<\/li><\/ul><p>The services provided by <strong>VestA<\/strong>, as a sub-consultant to <strong>Protek-Yapi Engineering Co.<\/strong>, included:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Situation analysis and diagnosis<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Geotechnical and hydrological assessment<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Hazard, vulnerability, and risk assessment<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Micro-zonation and exposure analysis<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Risk-sensitive land use plan strategy<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Urban expansion modeling<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Action plans, implementation programs, and financial
