In this context, <strong>UN-Habitat mobilized a project for Iranian hospitals<\/strong>. The assignment was carried out based on the <strong>City Resilience Profiling Tool (CRPT)<\/strong> developed by UNISDR.<\/p><p>To improve the resilience of healthcare facilities, the BEHTAB project <strong>adopted a holistic approach<\/strong> covering multiple dimensions of hospital design, including:<\/p><ul><li>Multi-hazard analysis<\/li><li>Rapid Visual Assessment (RVA)<\/li><li>Detailed structural assessment and retrofitting<\/li><li>Non-structural assessment and retrofitting<\/li><li>Functional analysis of existing facilities<\/li><li>Urban-scale analysis<\/li><li>Preparation of investment plans<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>Services Provided<\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>Conducted <strong>Rapid Visual Assessment (RVA)<\/strong> for hospitals totaling <strong>600,000 sq.m.<\/strong> (75 hospitals) and healthcare centers totaling <strong>50,000 sq.m.<\/strong> (approximately 100 centers)<\/li><li>Conducted <strong>Preliminary Engineering Assessment (PEA)<\/strong> for hospitals totaling <strong>160,000 sq.m.<\/strong> (20 hospitals) and healthcare centers totaling <strong>22,500 sq.m.<\/strong> (45 centers)<\/li><li>Conducted <strong>Detailed Engineering Analysis (DEA)<\/strong> for the same hospitals and healthcare centers<\/li><li>Consolidated field data and prepared a <strong>list of requirements<\/strong> for the continuation of the study<\/li><li>Checked structural conditions <strong>based on the Iranian Seismic Code<\/strong><\/li><li>Determined <strong>performance objectives<\/strong>, existing performance, and hazard levels<\/li><li>Modeled and analyzed the structures<\/li><li>Conducted <strong>cost\u2013benefit analysis<\/strong> of recommended actions<\/li><li>Prepared <strong>Bills of Quantities and tender
