This project was undertaken to enhance the emergency response capacity of municipalities and included financing for the procurement of vehicles and equipment required to respond to wildfires, floods, storms, and earthquakes. By strengthening the capabilities of municipal fire brigades, the project aimed to improve the preparedness and resilience of municipalities against increasing risks associated with climate change and extreme weather events.
The final report provided a multidimensional assessment enabling municipalities to plan and prioritize their investments in emergency response infrastructure. It offered a data-driven framework to align operational needs with strategic decision-making.
