The seismic and multi-hazard vulnerability of the Faizabad Provincial Hospital and the Maternity Hospital was assessed through both qualitative and quantitative methods. The assessment was conducted based on field inspections, non-destructive testing, structural classification, and an evaluation of characteristics affecting the seismic response of the buildings. These included evidence of past earthquake damages, settlements, existing cracks, previous structural interventions, changes in use, the level of maintenance, and other observable structural indicators. All structural damages in the buildings were documented, photographed, and recorded in the assessment inventory.
