Urbanization And Climate Change Adaptation in Caspian Sea Region

In this project, climate change adaptation measures were developed for the identified areas to enhance environmental and social resilience against natural hazards:
- Sea level fluctuations and potential decline: For coastal zones, designated economic activity boundaries were introduced to reduce vulnerability and protect residents and critical infrastructure.
- Increased flooding and more severe droughts: Measures included reducing water loss, utilizing rainwater, desalinated seawater, and recycled water, as well as improving the management of river-based and other available water resources.
