Structural Engineering and Retrofitting Services
In the Structural and Retrofitting Department, VestA provides design and analysis services for new structures and retrofitting of existing ones using advanced software and analytical models. Structural analyses are performed in three stages: Rapid Visual Assessment (RVA), Preliminary Engineering Assessment (PEA), and Detailed Engineering Assessment (DEA). Services include software-based design for each analysis stage and post-crisis remedial solutions to assess vulnerability and strengthen structures. All retrofitting services follow green strengthening standards.
Risk Assessment and Microzonation Services
Integrated seismic, geotechnical, and climatic microzonation services are provided, focusing on simultaneous analysis of hazards such as earthquakes, landslides, subsidence, and floods. The objective is to produce decision-making maps for assessing potential damages, offering adaptive solutions, and optimizing site selection and resilient design of urban and infrastructure projects.
